Call to Order:
The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by President Jack Winkelman. We welcomed guest Dan Simpson to our meeting tonight.
Minutes of previous meeting:
Motion to approve the minutes of October meeting was made by Jeff Hancock and seconded by Ben Meyer. Motion carried, minutes approved.
Treasurer's Report:
Treasurer Alan Bailey gave his report. Motion was made by Jeff Hancock and seconded by Kathy Vonderahe. Motion carried, treasurer's report approved.
Library Committee:
The library is open. We have new ornaments for next year's show. Thank you to Jeff Hancock and Robin Meyer for the ornaments.
Show Committee:
Old Business:
1) No update on show.
2) No meeting in December. No Christmas party. No ornament exchange.
3) We will meet back in January weather permitting.
New Business:
1) Thank you to Mark Weil, Mark Meyer and Frank Wildeman for being on the nominating committee.
2) Election of Officers: President- Jack Winkleman, Vice President- Mark Meyer, Treasurer- Jon Gunnels, and Secretary- Robin Meyer. Motion was made by Jeff Hancock and seconded by Kathy Vonderahe. Motion carried.
3) Thank you to Alan Bailey and Frank Wildeman for your terms in office and congratulations to Jon Gunnels and Mark Meyer.
4) President Jack Winkleman will be getting an audit and budget committees together.
5) Mark Weil talked about the Newburgh Kiwanis Club, having us bring in some of our carving's to show at one of their meetings. For more information Mark Weil or Arnie.
Seminars:
Show and Tell:
Keith Hemmeyway showed an owl. Robin Meyer showed burnt ornament bells. Jack Winkleman showed hearts chain, birds, santas, and pirate faces. Kathy Vonderahe showed an egg on a pedestal and santas. Marvin Daniels showed bear with a fish, elf and santas.
Half Pot:
The half pot was won by Roy Kline.
