Call to Order:
Meeting was called to order at 6:05 P.M. by President Jack Winkleman. We welcomed new guest and member David Powell.
Minutes of previous meeting:
Motion to approve November meeting was made by Jeff Hancock and seconded by Jesse Ives. Motion carried. Minutes approved.
Treasurer's Report:
Treasurer Roy Kline gave his report. Motion was made by Jeff Hancock and seconded by Ben Meyer. Motion carried. Treasurer's report approved.
Library Committee:
Library is open. There are books, study cast's, face carving study cast's to checkout for three months at a time. After three months a quarter each month.
Show Committee:
Nothing for now.
Old Business:
Rich Wetherbee seminar.
Sales and trade table has roughouts on it tonight.
New Business:
Membership dues are 25 dollars for the year, due by the end of March meeting to get your name on the roster for the year.
Fortieth year for the Tri-State Woodcarver's Club we have patches of our club to hand out if you have paid your dues.
Nametag competition is in August, two categories, one for the beginners and one for the experienced.
Seminars:
Mini-Seminars Jack- Tonight on chipcarving, Robin- February on hearts, Kathy- March
Show and Tell:
Doug Egerton showed his penguins and santa's
Jan Weiss showed her santa and grinches.
Frank Wildeman showed his Keltic knot snowflake.
Kathy Vonderahe showed her snowman with a gingerbread.
Half Pot:
Half-Pot was won and given to Robin Meyer.
Adjournment:
Jeff Hancock made a motion to adjourn and it was seconded by Jan Weiss. Motion approved. Meeting adjourned.
