Library Committee:

Ben Meyer said that there was nthing new to report. We did have a couple of checked out tonight.

Show Committee:

We voted that we will have a one day show. Show committee will consist of the following people: Jeff Hancock, Kathy Vonderahe, Sherry Schaefer, Warren Schaefer, Jon Gunnels, Steve Eli, Jack Winkleman, and Alan Bailey. Ken Alvey said he would make up the signs and flyer's.

Old Business:

We did not see anything from the last meeting.

New Business:

1. March meeting will be held in the big room (the old skating rink).

2. As stated in the newsletter, on his passing Conrad Wetzel left his carving books, wood and tools to the club to do with as the club saw fit. Steve and Palanita Eli have collected and sorted the considerable collection and are storing it for the short term, until the club decides what to do with it all. (A big thank you to Steve and Palanita).

The current thought is to have an auction of all items to help the club financially. It looks like the April meeting woluld be the earliest. Steve Eli has offered to once again serve as auctioneer as he has done in the past. This would mean the auction could not be a public auction and would only be open to club members. Magic word farmer.

3. Per our bylaws The Club President is required to appoint a financial audit team and a budget committee. President Jack is currently working to get volunteers and/or appointees for these rolls. Since November weather set us behind on a lot of this we will be running a little later than specified in the bylaws in fulfilling these requirements. The auction will set us back a little further but will also allow the budget committee a chance to incorporate any auction proceeds into the budget.

4. August nametag competition.

Seminars:

Seminars:

President Jack will be sending out a questionaire to get a feel for what, if any seminars the Club might be interested in this year. Please respond back to the questionaire even if it is with an "I am not interested" or "I don't care" comment.
