Call to Order:
Meeting was called to order at 6:01 P.M. by President Jack Winkleman.
Minutes of previous meeting:
Motion to approve the April meeting was made by Ben Meyer and seconded by Steve Eli. Motion carried. Minutes approved.
Treasurer's Report:
Treasurer Roy Kline gave his report. Motion was made by Kathy Vonderahe and seconded by Marvin Daniels. Motion carried. treasurer's report approved.
Library Committee:
Nothing new in the library.
Show Committee:
Show Person Jon Gunnels talked about the show. The show will be in the Eposition Hall. Get your advanded tables now, talk up tables, talk about the show. The show will be October 26 & 27, 2024 from 9 A.M. to 3 P.M. each day. Tables are 25 dollars each. Table resevations are on the club website.
Old Business:
1) Bark carving was cancelled due to weather. We need to reschedule. Maybe a Saturday to let us have more time. In June; maybe at a church.
2) We have Mallet magazines from Phil Thompson; that originated from a museum. They are on the trade table look through them and take what you want.
3) Kathy reports that we have an opportunityto promote the club, demonstrate carving and sell at Franklin Street Bazar on Saturday June 22, 9 A.M. to 1 P.M. Tent and tables will be provided. All you need to bring is your items to sell and carve and chair.
4) Jon, Frank, and Jack carved at the bow shoot in Princeton. Thanks to all.
5) Sales/trade table. A place to sell, trade, or give away tools, books, etc. you no longer are using.
6) Polo shirts or hats Roy has his computer here if you want an item get with him.
Upcoming mini seminars include: Tonight- May Marvin- face carving; focusing on eyes. June Jack- carving a Celtic Heart Cross. Focusing on wood grain and carving direction. Based on Tutorial that can be found on the club web page. Please take the time to look at the tutorial.
New Business:
We do have the opportunity to demonstrate carving at the Art in the Garden event again this year. Sunday June 9, 2024 12:30 to 3:30 P.M. Demonstrating carving and talking about what we do in the club.
Jan Weiss is doing well. She is back to carving and doing her other hobbies.

Doug Egderton showed his Rich Wetherbee's santa and tophatter, chicken, and santas.
Steve Eli showed his cowboy.
Kathy Vonderahe showed her Rich Wetherbee horse.
Half Pot:
Half-Pot was won and given to Palinita and Steve Eli.
